K.GE Oboe Reed Euro Soft

K.Ge Euro Oboe reeds uses the same materials and same measurements K.GE’s premium line of reeds. The difference being that their premium professional & standard line use a cane density which is between medium hard ~ hard, whereas student line reeds use a cane density between medium hard ~ medium. These student line reeds are a lot better suited to beginner and intermediate level embouchures. Soft

In 1988 Ke-xun began making reeds for Howarth to sell in order to support his oboe studies. In 1989 Ke-xun moved to Queensland to further his oboe studies and he taught oboe reed making at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Eventually the demand for Ke-xun's reeds increased dramatically, and he decided to become a full time oboe reed maker.
